Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide, including your name or company name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, country, account credentials, profile details, driver identity and licence documents, vehicle information, photographs, trip requests, quotes, booking details, reviews, support requests and messages sent through TourDrivers.

We also receive technical and usage information such as device and browser details, IP-derived country, login and security events, page activity, cookie preferences and approximate location when you choose to share it. We do not require precise device location unless you actively use a location-sharing feature.

2. How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts; display driver and vehicle profiles; match travelers with providers; deliver quotes, messages and bookings; translate text and voice messages; verify driver information; process payments, wallet credits and withdrawals; calculate commissions; provide support; prevent fraud and prohibited contact sharing; send transactional notifications; measure service performance; and comply with legal obligations.

Where required by law, we rely on your consent for optional analytics or marketing. You may change cookie choices through the site’s Cookie settings control.

3. Payments and PayPal connection

Card payment details are collected and processed by Stripe. TourDrivers does not store your complete card number or security code. When a driver chooses Connect with PayPal, PayPal asks for authorization and may return the account email, verified-account status and PayPal payer ID. We use that information only to connect and operate the driver’s payout account. A driver can disconnect the PayPal account from the TourDrivers wallet.

4. When we share information

We share only what is reasonably necessary with travelers, drivers and companies involved in a request or confirmed booking, and with service providers that help us operate TourDrivers. These may include Microsoft Azure and WordPress hosting services, Stripe, PayPal, Twilio and WhatsApp, Google and Firebase services, Meta advertising measurement, Cloudflare, email-delivery providers, analytics providers when permitted, and artificial-intelligence providers used for translation, transcription, content assistance and safety checks.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the platform, to investigate fraud or policy violations, or as part of a business reorganization subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information.

5. Messages, translation and automated tools

TourDrivers preserves the original message and may create a translated version for the recipient. Text, images and voice notes may be processed to provide translation, transcription and checks intended to detect prohibited contact sharing or unsafe content. Automated checks can be imperfect; significant account decisions may be reviewed by an administrator.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies and local storage for sign-in, security, preferences and core site operation. With permission where required, Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta Pixel help us understand visits, campaign parameters, page performance and completed journey steps such as quote requests. We do not send contact details in these measurement events. Third-party payment, identity and security services may set their own cookies when their features are used.

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect forms from automated abuse. Turnstile is governed by Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

7. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain booking and financial records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and meet legal or accounting requirements. Retention periods vary by record type. We use access controls, encryption in transit, monitoring, backups and other reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

8. International processing

TourDrivers connects users and service providers in different countries. Your information may therefore be processed outside the country where you live. Where applicable, we use contractual and technical safeguards for international transfers.

9. Your choices and rights

You can update much of your account information from your profile. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent. Some information may need to be retained for bookings, payments, safety or legal compliance.

10. Children

TourDrivers accounts and bookings are intended for adults who can enter a binding agreement. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for independent account use.
